Mechanical Finishers, Inc. has serviced the Ohio Valley’s metal finishing, passivation metal cleaning, metal deburring, metal passivating and metal parts cleaning Ohio needs since 1992 under the MFI banner. We have rapidly become one of the largest finishing facilities in Ohio. Recently, we completed a 20,000-square-foot addition to our state-of-the-art facility in Cincinnati. In April of 2015, the company was sold to the owners of Euclid Refinishing Inc. dba Surftech (www.ercsurftech.com) located in Northeast Ohio and changed its name to Mechanical Finishers Inc, LLC. All of the facilities and staff were retained and our Team of associates’ manage the business with with Midwestern values of dependability, responsibility and friendly service.

- In 1996, Mechanical Finishers was awarded the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce Corporate Environmental Achievement Award for outstanding environmental protection and improvement efforts.
- In 1997 The Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Sciences (IAMS) presented Mechanical Finishers with the "Return On Initiative" award in recognition of our commitment to enhanced competitiveness. Also in 1997, Mechanical Finishing won the Mass Finishing Job Shops Association (MFJSA) Certification Quality One award for excellence in meeting or exceeding all MFJSA standards.
- In 2002, the company received ISO 9001:2000 registration, the first of its kind in the Greater Cincinnati area to attain this prestigious certification.
- In 2008 we improved our certification to ISO 9001:2008.
- In 2015 we improved our certification again to ISO 9001:2015 and were one of the first in the tri-state area to do so. Quality is THAT important to us.
- In 2015 the Company aligned with 3 other secondary processors and joined https://www.metalfinishing.parts
- In 2019 we ADDED ZINC BARREL and ZINC RACK PLATING and Electrocoating (E-coating) to our in-house services to respond to customer and industry needs
